Welcome to

Anna Woods Elder Care.

Hi, I’m Anna. I support Marlborough’s elderly manage the often overwhelming tasks they’re faced with each day. My aim is to empower our elderly and support them to maintain their independence for as long as possible - offering them an extra pair of ears, hands and most importantly, a friend to help them navigate life.

Some of the things I can support you or your loved one with include:

  • Dressings

  • Transport to and support with doctors visits, as well as interpreting recommendations, findings and results

  • Liaising with doctors, pharmacists and nurses on your behalf

  • Medication oversight - making sure all medications are safe and correct

  • B12 injections at home

  • Welfare check ins

  • Grocery order pick ups or small essential shops

  • Pharmacy pick ups

  • Basic medical checks/monitoring, including:

    • Heart rate

    • Blood pressure

    • Respiratory rate

    • Oxygen levels

    • Swelling

About me.

I’m a qualified registered nurse with experience working in both medical and surgical settings.

The majority of my career has been practice nursing, where I saw first hand the struggle many of our elderly face getting to and understanding doctor’s appointments, not to mention interpreting and implementing the doctor’s instructions afterwards.

After a break to welcome my two babies into the world I have returned to the workforce with a dream to make the lives of some of these people just a little bit easier.

If you would like some help for yourself or a loved one, I’d love to hear from you and work with you to figure out a tailored solution.

I’d love to help make your life, or that of a loved one a little bit easier. Fill in the form below and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
